Vehicle Description
This is a beautiful 1970 Shelby GT500 Drag Pack fastback powered by
a 428ci Ram-Air Super Cobra JET engine backed by a 4-speed manual
transmission, with 3.91 Traction-Lok rear end and external oil
cooler. It has factory tinted glass, space-saver spare, fold-down
rear seat and dealer-installed AM/8-track player. It has 78,500
original miles. The original XHD big suspension has been rebuilt,
as has the engine, which has 1,000 miles since its completion. This
stunning Shelby rides on brand-new, factory-correct Goodyear
Polygas GT tires, and it includes an extra set of Goodyear Eagle ST
street tires. Its Marti Report shows it is one of 42 with its paint
and trim codes that has the 3.91 Drag Pack package. The car comes
with all documentation, including the two factory Build Sheets,
Window Sticker and an Elite Marti Report. The glove box was signed
by Carrol Shelby in July 2000, at which time it also received a
Concours Bronze Award from SAAC in Lime Rock, CT.
