Everybody loves the middle-‘60s Corvettes, with their signature good looks, bullet-proof powertrains and independent rear suspension. This one is an original numbers-matching 327/350 with factory 4-Speed and positraction. It is nicely optioned with turbine alloy knock-off wheels, leather upholstery, teak wheel and both power steering and brakes—even A/C!
It was professionally restored over ten years ago in its original Milano Maroon color with Natural leather. The body was stripped and refinished by a Corvette specialist, along with renewing the chrome trim pieces and a new top.
The restoration included completely rebuilding the original engine to stock specs with no aftermarket hop-up stuff. The posi diff was rebuilt as well along with a new clutch. The job was topped off with a hidden-under-the–dash Vintage Air unit and a modern CD player hides in the glove box. The 80,834 miles showing on the car are believed to be accurate. There is an organized binder detailing the over $24,000 spent on the car, just to make it ready for you!
