This is a solid car with strong bones that needs the right owner to give it the TLC needed to bring it back to its former glory. The body is solid and all of the parts are there. The engine has been rebuilt and the car has had many parts replaced.
This car has always been garage kept. It was purchased as a restored car in the mid 80's by my father for my mother to drive. Sense she didn't work the car was used very lightly for about 5 years. At that time is was parked in the garage and never used again. My father attempted several times to get it back on the road and has, through the years, replaced brakes, front end parts, and had the engine rebuilt (the engine does not run). In the last several years he has replaced the seat covers and carpet, and most recently replaced the battery.
Although there has been a lot of new parts and work done through the years I am in no way advocating that this car does not need to be thoroughly restored. I do believe that the new owner will be pleasantly surprised at the parts that will not require a lot of attention.
The car is part of my parents estate and needs to be moved. therefore, I will sell the car to the best offered price. The car is located in Humble Texas and will need to be transported at the buyers expense.
