Vehicle Description
Big block power, side pipes, fully coordinated colors, A/C
interior, and a four-on-the-floor... This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette
has everything you want, and it has been given all the right
investments for an incredible classic Vette. So you can read on for
all the details, but you already know this is the best one if
you're both a collector and a driver.
Tuxedo Black is always a desirable color for a mean machine like
this. That's why we're pleased to see how amazingly nice the paint
is on this coupe. It received a full restoration in 2008 and has
gone only about 1,800 miles since then. So it retains a superior
shine that comes from investing in quality. But more than just a
great paint, it has all the features that make this coupe so
desirable. For example, not only is the stinger hood accented in an
aggressive red, but you also have redline tires for a terrific
coordinating effect. There's plenty of extra shine on the
mirror-like bumpers, Rally wheels, and iconic side pipes.
Inside, the car flips the exterior color theme so now it's red with
black accents. You can tell there was plenty spent here, the red
leather interior feels so fresh. This is the kind of deep and
aggressive color that'll get you in the performance car mood before
even turning the key. There's also plenty of bright work on
everything from the knobs for the AM/FM stereo, to the glove box
lid in the iconic dual cowl dash. When you sit in the low-back
bucket seats and grab the chrome shifter, the atmosphere instantly
gets nostalgic. The wood-grained steering wheel feels great, and it
gives you a commanding view of the full gauges - including the
large speedo and tach. The power windows make it easy to hear the
big block rumble. Thanks to cold air conditioning, you can stay
cool with the windows down all summer long.
There's definitely something magical about a 427 in a Corvette. Not
only do you have the clout of the largest V8 available that year,
but also it's dressed properly with Chevy Orange on the block.
Plus, there's a nice bit of flash with the ignition shield, valve
covers, and chrome air topper w/427 decals. While the presentation
is extra tidy, you're going to love the V8 even more out on the
road. That's because you have full control over this power and its
thunderous soundtrack thanks to the Muncie four-speed manual
transmission. In fact, this big block classic is all about control.
It has a Positraction rear end; the fully-independent suspension
holds the road better than some modern muscle machines; and the
four-wheel disc brakes provide superior stopping power.
This final-year C2 is the total package, and it's turn-key ready,
so all it needs is a true collector to take it home. Is that you?
