1961 MB 190DB
This is a southern California car (rust free) was stored in a San Diego garage for over 15 years. I'm second owner (original Black plate). Recently completely resurrected with exterior, chrome, interior, with mechanical services including new clutch, brake system, rebuilt Diesel engine, tuned drive-line and suspension. (Currently only 1230 miles on drive-train) This example is an iconic Black and Tan (interior) with 4 speed manual on the tree. All systems correct and proper. Radial wide white Coker tires. Excellent mileage (35+) cruises at highway speeds (65-70 mph) and is a hoot to drive. This car is like a puppy, everywhere it goes people smile, want to pet it, and enjoy it. We called it “PUG”. New owner must appreciate this era of Mercedes-Benz superiority and simplicity, as the car also appreciates. Could be a trailer-queen ( but it's too much fun to drive) an excellent example for regional judged car shows and front row Valet parking.
