This 1957 Volkswagen Bug is in a nice combination of Agave with Tan.
1957 was the last year for the oval window Beetles.
This example has been restored to a glossy shine in Agave green paint and original trim, both of which are in excellent condition.
Under the rear bonnet is an upgraded 1600cc single-port 4-cylinder engine with an upgraded synchronized 4-speed manual transmission.
Nice driving condition. Recent brake work just completed. Engine and gearbox are sound.
The engine bay is very tidy and the bumpers with their bumper guard and tubular override bars look fantastic.
The body panels are in very good order.
Inside is a light beige interior with matching oatmeal carpet and a light-colored mohair-style headliner.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are in good condition, as are the carpet and headliner.
The green metal instrument panel looks beautiful and the two-spoke steering wheel has been restored and all interior pieces have been painted to factory specifications.
New wide whitewall tires and factory moon wheel covers.
For extra storage, there is a metal luggage rack atop the roof.
