Vehicle Description
1965 Ford Mustang GT350 Tribute
When the 60s rolled around muscle cars were king and one of the
most popular models ever released was the Ford Mustang. These pony
cars were such a big hit that they are still being produced even
today. This 65 is an absolutely beautiful car that has been totally
redone as a GT350 tribute. The car was actually built by Napa and
won in a raffle by the previous owner. The car was really well
built and needs nothing. The bright Blue paint has a beautiful
shine and it has the correct White racing stripes and GT350 side
stripes. All of the chrome and stainless has a nice finish with no
pitting or issues. The car has a great stance and rolls around on
GT350 wheels with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
The under hood area is very clean on the car with the inner fenders
and firewall nicely painted Black. The motor is a 289 V8 that runs
really well. It is topped with an oval Shelby air cleaner and on
each side are nicely chromed Ford Racing valve covers. An
aftermarket aluminum radiator has been added to the car and keeps
it running cool with zero heating issues. The motor is paired with
a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly and makes it a
very fun car to drive.
The interior of the car is nicely done in Black and the upholstery
work is in good shape. Between the bucket seats is a hump hugger
center console which is a great addition to these cars because it
provides cupholders and additional storage space. In front of the
console is a nice mounted Hurst shifter with White knob. The dash
has a mostly stock appearance with the original gauges, knobs and
switches which are all working properly. The underdash AC unit
works great and blows cold. In front of the driver sits a nice
woodgrain steering wheel with GT350 horn button. The trunk of the
car is finished out nicely as well with Black GT350 carpeting.
This classic has a great look and runs just as well.
