You see a lot of Ford street rods running around but not a ton of
Chevys which makes this 34 pretty unique. One look at this car will
have you wondering why people don't go the Chevy route because it
is a really neat looking car. The fiberglass Outlaw Sedan body has
a great look and is in great shape. The hood is steel and was set
up so that you can open it from either side. The car is painted in
a nice Silver metallic with custom painted graphics down the sides
and some very cool pinstriping on the back. It also features custom
billet side mirrors and a billet front windshield wiper. Although
it doesn't get drive in the rain that wiper is sure to come in
handy if it happens to start sprinkling on your way home from the
show. The glass is all in good condition with a dark tint that
contrasts nicely against the paint. Under all four corners sit
American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with taller tires in the back to
give it a slight rake.
Getting those tires rolling is the nicely built 350 V8 motor
sitting under the hood. The motor runs well and features a ton of
added chrome. It is backed up by a 4 speed automatic transmission
with overdrive and a 9 inch Ford rear end. The car has 4 wheel disc
brakes which are power as well as power steering which makes it
very comfortable to drive. The car only has 17,000 miles on it
since completed so mechanically and cosmetically it is still
fresh.
The interior is done in a Beige leather which is very comfortable
and in great condition. The bucket seats are comfortable and
adjustable. A small custom center console was created to house the
power window controls but to free up floor space an overhead
console was also installed. It was built out of brushed aluminum
and holds the Alpine AM/FM/CD player. The dash has been topped with
leather and the white faced Autometer gauges are mounted in a
billet bezel. The polished tilt esteering column sits nicely in
front of the driver and is topped with a leather wrapped Banjo
steering wheel. Other nice features include the aftermarket AC
system and custom pedals. One of the coolest features of the car is
the fact that it is a sedan with a bench back seat so you can go
cruise around with the whole family which is often not possible
with most 2 seater street rods.
This cool 34 Chevy is in great shape and needs nothing but a new
home.
