Vehicle Description
1970 Plymouth Cuda 440-6 Barrel
Unless you have been living under a rock, you know the legend
precedes the car whenever it comes to anything from Mopar with lots
of carbs. But, when it comes to the 6 Barrel, (or 6 Pack depending
on your preference), the Cuda legend permeates the atmosphere
around the entire hobby. For those that were in the know back then
it was understood that the 440/6 turned better times than the Hemi
in the quarter and weren't quite as finicky. So you could be a bit
faster with a little less change out of your pocket. What we have
here is a superb running and driving example of that legend. To
start with we want to make it clear this is not an original V code
440/6 Cuda however, it is 'Cuda 340 automatic that was B5 Blue with
a blue interior and some of the most desired Cuda options. Check
out the fender tag decoding below. It comes with the original
fender tag to verify the originality of this fine "Cuda. The
restoration is a few years old and has been driven some and still
looks great. As far as driving goes, this is one of the best
handling and running Big Block cars we have ever experienced. The
previous owner built this one to enjoy and drive. There were only a
total of less than 1755 440/6 Cuda hardtops built, for those that
don't have that number tattooed on them somewhere, so finding a
real one is not impossible but gonna' run you some serious bank. If
you're a real player on a well represented tribute car car this is
an opportunity to enjoy a great value today.
