Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser
FJ40. Finished in Mustard Yellow with a grey soft top, it's a great
looking truck that never fails to turn heads. Excellent paint
quality over a solid and rust-free body. This FJ40 retains its
original floors, rockers and sheet metal with no evidence of former
rust repair (the underside is not highly detailed, but neither has
it been "rattle canned" black so it's not hiding anything). Stock
suspension, but ride height is slightly higher than stock due to
the 31x10.50 Goodyear Wrangler all terrains (fitted to steel wheels
with factory hubcaps in excellent shape).
This truck has just the right stance - improved ground clearance
thanks to the slightly larger tires, but still drives great around
town. An 8500-pound winch is mounted on front bumper. Interior
shows well with nice seat upholstery front and rear, plus a factory
roll bar with three-point seat belts. Modern AM/FM/CD stereo with
speakers mounted to the roll bar. All gauges, switches, etc. are
working as they should.
Under the hood is Toyota's venerable 4.2 liter "2F" inline six
mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The truck is also
equipped with power disk brakes. Engine runs well and the clutch,
gearbox, steering and brakes all feel great. Drivetrain is stock
aside from upgraded Weber 32/36 carburetor with an electric choke.
Original paint under the hood. No known mechanical needs.
This is a great looking and driving FJ in a desirable original
color. For more information about this 1976 Toyota LandCruiser FJ40
