1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
The Cadillac DeVille was originally a trim level and later a
separate model produced by Cadillac. The 1959 Cadillac is
remembered for its huge sharp tailfins with dual bullet tail
lights, two distinctive roof-lines and roof pillar configurations,
new jewel-like grille patterns and matching deck lid beauty
panels.
Why This Car Is Special
In 1959 the Series 62 were moved from the Series 62 to their own
series, the Series 6200. DeVilles and 2-door Eldorados became the
Series 6300 and Series 6400 respectively. This bright red and white

Mechanics
Under the hood of this Cadillac sits the 390 CID V8 with a 4-Barrel

mirror, oil filter.
The motor and transmission are rebuilt and repainted and look
factory correct in the painted and detailed engine compartment with
all the proper hoses, clamps, windshield washer bottle, valve
covers and air cleaner.
The brake system and the suspension has been updated to new shocks
and other parts to give it a better ride than it had on day one.
And of course, Air Conditioning Is great on a warm day here in
Florida.
Interior
The interior features the brilliant red and white bench seat with
armrest, red and white matching rear seat and door panels, red
carpet, red and white painted dash with chrome accents, factory
gauges, vanity mirror, power windows and two-way power seats.
Exterior
The great red and white paint shines on the DeVille which has great
chrome bumpers and trim, script nameplates on the rear fenders,
plain painted fender skirts covering the rear wheels, Cadillac
wheel covers, and wide white.
