OWNER JUST APPROVED DRAMATIC PRICE REDUCTION. A beautiful mid-Series I 3.8 E-Type roadster that shares the visual and driving characteristics of the earlier flat-floors, but is far more affordable. Featuring the signature arch-backed seats and aluminum console treatment, plus a non-synchro 1st gear to make you a better driver!
This car was restored over ten years ago and kept very nice since. The monocoque shows no evidence of past accident or rust damage and the entire body and nose is straight and true. Mechanically, the car is in great shape with a solid engine, quiet gearbox and plenty of life in the clutch. (That’s a big deal in an E-Type)
Our shop has just completed some brake and hydraulic work, plus professionally polished the excellent paint to a fantastic level. The beige leather interior is remarkably soft and supple, plus the top is like new, since it’s hardly ever been up. The wire wheels were replaced at the last restoration and have excellent chrome-–even the spare is a matching new Michelin red-line. There is an excellent tool & jack kit, plus a quality car cover is included along with the original owner’s book and a Jaguar shop manual. And, it even comes with a factory hardtop!
This car is another example of how wise it is to buy one ‘already done,’ instead of a cheaper car with needs that will take two years and $100,000 to be what this car is today! The current Hagerty price guide pegs a strong #2 E roadster at $185K, and we have this BRG beauty priced very attractively at: $155,000.
