Vehicle Description
OK, so here is one of those very rare opportunities, to own one of
the rarest cars that I have ever owned, or for that matter ever
seen. The year is 1976. We are at the height of a Bi-Centennial
Celebration, in our great country. You are an Oldsmobile dealer
looking to draw attention to your great lineup of automobiles. So
what do you do? You special order, as your Bi-Centennial Parade
car, this absolutely beautiful, and original, 1976 RED, WHITE, AND
BLUE...... Olds cutlass supreme. Yes, you heard me right. Red
exterior, white vinyl top and blue (yes blue?) interior. After many
countless hours of research on this amazing car, I cannot find
anything saying that there was ever another one built. This is a
very Special order vehicle, built for a very special year in our
country. Now flash forward to end of summer 1976. The Oldsmobile
dealer has finish his promotion and the parades are over. Enter
Aunt Edna. We purchase this one owner, absolutely amazingly, clean,
and excellent, car from the estate of Aunt Edna. This beautiful
time capsule is mind blowing, as far as its overall original
condition. With 34,000 original miles, this is a one owner (Aunt
Edna) Cutlass that literally looks like a brand new car on the
inside. The original blue clothe interior is perfect, the
headliner, door panels, dash and carpet, all look like the day it
was new. On this sweet ride every dial, every light, including the
original AM radio, and AC, work perfectly. This incredible car,
drives down the road, like the day it was purchased new. The
exterior has original rally wheels and beauty rings, and original
Vinyl top. Most of the exterior paint is original, with only a few
areas, touched up over the years. The chrome, is amazing, the vinyl
top, is amazing, the grill is amazing. I think It may well be the
only one anywhere. With only a few bubble areas around the Vinyl
top edge, this is one of the cleanest, driest, 1976 cars that I
have ever had the honor of owning in our inventory. It has cold
blowing AC, AM radio, and a beautiful tribute to our BI-CENTENNIAL
year. If you are a collector, looking for a very rare car, or just
a person looking for a great weekend cruiser, that will be the only
one anywhere you go. This is most definitely the one for you. This
is priced at $9,500.00 and we believe this is a very reasonable
price for any car this rare. The story is worth that much. With its
original owner's manual, and a log book of every service ever done
on this beauty, this icon of Americana, is going to go very fast.
