with Gear Vendor Overdrive Miles: 1723 This 1941 Willys Coupe began
with an Outlaw Reproduction fiberglass body and an Outlaw, fully
boxed, tubular chassis. Only the best of the best components were
used in building this street rod. The power comes from a Chevrolet
502 HO crate motor. It is topped with a polished aluminum 6.71
blower from The Blower Shop, with dual Demon 750 cfm carbs. An
electronic ignition provides the spark. An aluminum radiator with
dual electric puller fans keep the engine cool. The exhaust exits
through Sanderson long tube headers that feed into a 3"" ceramic
coated stainless steel exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers.The engine
compartment is a show piece with custom painted valve covers, a
polished alternator, polished a/c compressor and Billet
accessories. The chassis begins with an Outlaw fully boxed tubular
frame with a Mustang ll styled cross member. The front has upper
and lower polished tubular control arms and a Flaming River rack
and pinion steering. The rear end is a narrowed 9inch Ford with
parallel 4 link rear suspension with a Panhard bar. Adjustable coil
overs on on all 4 corners along with 4 wheel disc brakes complete
the chassis. The entire chassis was also powder coated. The
interior has custom red leather seats, door panels and headliner.
The bucket seats are power operated and the windows are also power
assisted. A chromed tilt steering column with a Colorado custom
steering wheel look and feel fantastic. Classic Instrumentation
gauges, including a boost gauge were used. A vintage air: a/c,
heater/defroster system,� provide comfort while a Pioneer Audio
stereo system kicks out the jams.� A B&M quick shifter w/gear
vendor activation button on the shift nob controls the
transmission. The front tires/wheels are 15"" Billet Specialties
with Goodyear Eagle 195 60R/15 while the rear has matching Billet
Specialties wheels with Hoosier Pro Street Radial tires that are 31
x 16.50 Many of you have been asking. Yes the car has the 1940
split front grill but it is titled as a 1941 Willy. For further
