My Uncle bought this Datsun 280Z new in 1975 in Atlanta. He drove it for 20 years and I obtained from him in 1998. The odometer has rolled over and I think that it has 101,000+ miles. Runs strong. Beautiful Lt Brown Metallic repaint in 2000 (original color—code is 301). Replaced all rubber suspension parts and exhaust; replaced most rubber seals (doors/hatch/food/fuel door). Butterscotch interior with custom dyed Acura leather seats (original seats will be included in sale and are in excellent shape). New black leather Nardi steering wheel. New console and carpet. New alternator, ignition wires, starter & battery. Has factory AC but not hooked up. Nearly new tires on gorgeous throwback Koenig rims reminiscent of the old Panasport Minilites.
Car is always garaged. Not perfect, but beautiful driver. This is the first Z with fuel injection. I hate to part with it, but it’s time. I have other projects and interests. Note that although the factory bumpers and end caps are in good shape, it can be easily converted to the 240Z style bumpers (sheet metal is the same). There is no active rust on this Z. Starts every time, fun to drive.
