Vehicle Description
1950 Ford 2-door sedan. Quality restore of a great surviver to
start with. Believed 43K miles. Life long south Nebraska solid
find. The original blue and faded maroon primer was cleaned up an
professionally clear coated. The body with the clear coat is as
smooth as felt (really cool and actually very attractive and
interesting patterns). Lots to tell about it. Rebuilt stock flat
head, detailed motor and motor bay, flat head sounds really nice
like they are known to do when turned just right. Factory 3-speed
still on column, highway gears for cruising. Slightly lowered for
the old school look, yet drives really smooth and fun to drive.
Very reliable with total rewire to 12 volts and even alternator.
All lights work, old school turn signals with green light built at
end. Nice working volts, oil and temp gauges for better engine
management. Nice chrome and stainless, new front bumper and new
bullet nose and part of grill new. Most shoe box fans think the
single grill bullet looks better than the dual bullets on 1951's.
Both front and rear bumper guards. New spot lights, optional
desirable visor. new chrome outer trunk hinges. New plastic No hood
ornament. Cool old school hood louvers and great for cool motor.
Like new radial tires with old school spinners. Even all new glass
(tinted) with new gaskets. Have original keys that actually work
the doors and trunk!! Under sides nice and dry, no rust trunk, body
mounts and spare tire well. Nice AM/FM CD. Detailed and painted
correct dash. Stock visor, new stock seats, door panels, headliner
and carpet and visor. Really nicely done and very fun to drive an
converse about. Turn key and enjoy right off our delivery truck.
