Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this 1947 Cadillac Fleetwood. This Jet
Black beauty is an excellent example of a survivor from the first
year the Fleetwood emblem was used on the exterior of a Cadillac.
This particular vehicle was used by the ABC miniseries The
Fitzgeralds and The Kennedys a few years ago. The original chrome
looks great It runs and drives as it should with no surprises from
the 346ci Flathead V8 that starts easily and shifts smoothly
through the rare Hydra-Matic 3 speed automatic transmission. The
massive drum brakes assure the 4500 lb vehicle stops effectively.
The all original tan fabric interior has some fraying on the seat
edges, but overall the seats, carpet and headliner are all in good
shape with no other rips or tears especially considering the car is
70 years old. All gauges including the clock works. The radio was
restored with transistors and it does power on but needs tunning
adjustment. The temperature gauge is under dash- there is a
replacement original one as well as sending unit that have to be
installed. This one is ready for cruising! We can arrange shipping
to your location. If you have any questions, please contact
