This is 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt with 2402 actual miles. It is powered by a 4.6L SOHC V8 producing 270 HP with 305 lb.ft of torque. The transmission is a 5-speed manual (the only trans. available in Bullitt form) with a final drive ratio of 3.27:1. To separate the car from the normal GT's it is equipped with side scoops, 17-inch Bullitt style aluminum wheels along with a lowered suspension plus brushed aluminum fuel door on the right quarter panel plus electronic traction control. The brakes are uniquely equipped with 13" Brembo front rotors and performance calipers. All the specifications will be provided at time of sale. Of the 5582 Bullitts produced for 2001, 3041 were dark highland green the same color McQueen drove in the movie.
I have owned the car for four years. When I first looked at it there was only 197 miles on it. The story goes the original owner was in ill health and force to sell it and other cars that he had stored. It is all Ford with the only option available a 6 CD changer. Over the years the only item replaced was the battery and that was with a Motorcraft. It has been carefully serviced and inspected once a year with Motorcraft synthetic oil.
This Bullitt is a great car. It actually is a new car. I kept the factory plastic on the door sills as a conversation piece. It has plenty of power and so much fun to drive I hate to see it go. However, changes in my life have dictated that I must sell it. I have moved into a house and I just do not have the space. I have every piece of documentation available for this car.
