We are pleased to present this beautiful newly finished Viper Red
1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye. This Challenger has been gone through
front to back and is ready to rip up the streets or cruise to the
next car show. The rebuilt 340 ci engine has forged Pistons, comp
cam, Edelbrock dual plane intake and 600 carburetor, Hooker
competition headers, 4-speed OD A833 manual transmission with
classic pistol grip shifter, hydraulic clutch system, 8 3/4 rear
end with a 3:55 spool differential.
The interior is classic with the original Rallye gauges, new black
carpet, headliner, dash pad, bucket seats, and that pistol grip
shifter between them just begging you to slam through the gears.
And with the transmission being an overdrive 833 it gets decent gas
mileage. In 4th gear running 70 MPH the engine is only at 2k RPM's.
No reason not to cruise down the interstate on those P225/70R14
wheels and tires!
The exterior is a beautiful Viper Red paint with the Rallye hood
blacked out in the center and classic side vents with strobe
stripes, new 70 style bumpers, vinyl black top, T/A style rear
wing, and it wouldn't be complete without a Flip Top gas cap.
The entire suspension has been rebuilt front to back! New ball
joints, bearings, tie rod ends, steering gear box, new shocks,
reinforced K member, and even heavy duty rear leaf springs. It also
has a new fuel tank, new front disc brakes, master cylinder, new
radiator, new door seals and rubbers, dual exhaust with original
tips, and the list goes on! And for the icing on the cake, it has
Vintage Air Conditioning to help keep you cool in the hot summer
and a blue tooth radio with Rockford Fosgate speakers so you can
listen to your favorite tunes! This car is ready for a new
owner!
