Vehicle Description
Restored by American Supercar, this Camaro was disassembled and
replaced with all new metal, including the roof, quarter panels,
floor pan, trunk pan, doors, trunk, hood fenders and wheel wells.
During the restoration a new wiring harness, gauges and instruments
were installed. It was finished in black with chrome trim over new
seats and upholstery. This Camaro is powered by a rebuilt 396ci
big-block engine with Hooker headers, 850CFM Rochester Quadra-Jet
carb, and cast-iron heads and intake. Backing the engine is a
4-speed manual transmission. This RS coupe is equipped with new
suspension, brakes, brake backing plates, Moser axles, axle
bearings, rear pumpkin plate, 12-bolt posi-traction rear end, new
stainless brake lines and new fuel lines. There is sound-deadening
under the carpet and roof liner. Seam sealer was used throughout
and sprayed on the underside with protective coating. The front
clip was sandblasted and painted as well and the body was put on a
jig and checked to specs. A CD of the build is included.
