Meticulously restored, this two-owner (Myself & My
Aunt) 72 Javelin SST was a running survivor before its
complete nut & bolt restoration. Was
my late great Aunt's vehicle. It was untouched before I
started the restoration, I am the only one who touched it. I know
everything about it.
All factory body panels dash gauges, including a clock, wiring harness and connections welds even the original undercoating have been preserved. I gave the hood a light modification with the scoop to beef it up, but it is easily removed, there are no rivets, the original hood is in tact. I also added brand new 15" Crager wheels wrapped in front with Mickey Thompson P235/60/25/15 tires and Mickey Thompson 28x12x15 rear tires . The original wheels and hubs are available if you prefer.
The windows were professionally tinted by Blackout Tinting. It retains all of its original exterior trim including bumpers, stainless steel rocker panels and even the antenna, which have all been professionally refinished by M&P Refinishing. During its restoration the body and mechanicals were fully disassembled and once reassembled the body was finished in show-quality Blue Pearl Coat paint. A magnet will stick to this car!!
This Javelin is powered by its original 304ci 8-cylinder engine backed by it's original automatic 3-speed on the floor transmission and has 40350 documented original miles and has never been touched. It comes with the original AMC AM radio. ALL NEW UPHOLSTERY, CARPET & HEADLINER, CUSTOM DUAL EXHAUST GLASS PACKS WITH CHROME TIPS, BRAKES, MASTER, CYLINDER, FRONT DRUMS, WEATHER STRIPPING THROUGHOUT, HEADLIGHTS, MIRRORS, MONROE GAS SHOCKS IN FRONT, MONROE AIR SHOCKS IN BACK. Drives and rides smooth. Has been winning trophies all summer. Inspected to 4/19.
