This awesome 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY
showroom. The second generation of GM's Pony car was released in
the spring of 1970 as a 70 Model. They were an instant hit with the
public due to their great fastback styling and the endless list of
options. They were not highly sought-after cars in the collector
car market until recently. Now they have almost a cult like
following with the 70-73 models being the most desirable. This
example has had quite a bit of work done in order to bring it to
its current condition. Receipts show that the build began back in
late 2007 with the majority of the work being completed in the next
2 years. We will start with the body of this beauty which appears
to have had both front fenders replaced. With the fitment of the
doors and hood being well with in 73 standards the car was then
painted. The dark blue is very similar to the iconic Admiral blue
which shows off the lines of the Camaro nicely. The white racing
stripes going over the hood and trunk lid add to the stock look and
compliment the Blue nicely. Sealed in with a couple coats of clear
the paint not only looks great but has that added layer of
protection. The interior of the car has been taken back to its
former glory with the black vinyl buckets upfront being classic
70's Camaro. The B&M Ratchet style shifter is a nice touch, but
I prefer just simply dropping it down in D but is nice to have the
option. Under the hood is a very healthy small block 350 giving the
car plenty of power. Consisting of your typical go-fast parts such
as the huge 4-barrel Edelbrock Carb and matching intake this thing
is classic muscle at its best. The TH350 transmission shifts out
nicely with a mash of the gas second gear comes rather quickly with
a firm shift. The 10-bolt rear end handles the power getting pout
down to the pavement with out any worries. The 4-wheel disc brakes
get this second-generation Camaro slowed down in a hurry. If you
have been looking for a split bumper that is fun to drive, gets
everyone's attention, and don't cost an arm and a leg this Blue
