Freshly painted, factory black 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75
Limousine. This a low mileage, Series 75 Limousine with only 57000
miles, that was structurally beautiful before being repainted due
to only minor imperfections in the paint. It deserved a gorgeous
jet black paint job.
This is a rare 1960 factory black Cadillac factory black. It
professionally painted in several coats DuPont DuPont Axalta
G9900s
basecoat with three coats clear coat to protect the finish.
The car was stripped down to bare metal before painting and was wet
sanded and buffed to a brilliant shine. Almost all of the chrome
and stainless is original and has stood the test of time which
shows very well for 58 year old chrome. The glass is good all the
way around and the windows work as they should. The interior of
this classic cruiser has also been redone with new black seat
covers front and back with matching jump seats. $6000 was spent on
the seats alone but it also has new carpet and a new headliner. The
dash is original and crack free, which is a testimony to the
preservation of the car.
Under the hood is the original 390 cubic inch engine, power
steering, power disc brakes, and factory air conditioning. The
brakes have just been serviced, fuel system was flushed and the old
gas tank was replaced. The undercarriage is solid as a tank and
intact and what you would expect for a low mileage car. This
incredible land yacht floats down the road like a Cadillac
limousine should rolling on new wide white radials and correct
factory wheel covers.
