THIS TRUCK IS PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN SYDNEY, NOVA SCOTIA
What we have here is a 1979 Ford F 100 pickup truck with 73,443 miles on the odometer (Not Actual). This truck is finished in Teal Blue and has a complementary Green cloth interior. Overall, this is a very nice driver that will be definitely be enjoyed for years by its new owner.
This 1979 Ford F100 pickup was purchased by the owner in 1993 and he drove it as it was at that time for about 10 years. After that, he decided to do a restoration of the truck. It started life with its 302 cid motor which he replaced with a 351 Windsor V8. and that motor now has a little under 10,000 miles on it. The truck has power steering and power brakes, a dual exhaust (new last year) as well as new tires. The restoration is about 15 years old but as you can see, it is in very nice condition.
These old trucks are highly desirable, especially when in this condition and as such, we do not expect her to last long. Brothers like to build, and now there’s a dad-and-daughter project in the works, too
Hand-me-down from uncle to nephew is in original and running condition
The yellow-and-maroon paint scheme may not be to everyone’s liking, but the seller of the Pick of the Day, a 1956 Ford F-100, notes that the pickup is a “very original” fat-fender example
My oldest son, Rob, and I purchased an old farm truck that had almost as much rust as it did clean metal.
