This racy looking Moss Green Carrera is a great running car, and overall in a very nice condition!
The Green exterior is complimented by Gloss Black 7” and 8” Minilites, which are in brand new shape. Other tasteful upgrades on this Carrera include a M&K stainless steel exhaust, A Steve Wong chip, Short shifter, and a Momo steering wheel.
The interior is in really nice shape, with brand new upholstery on the front seats, which matches perfectly with the original leather of the rear seats.
Performance wise, this car is spot on! The motor has great output and the transmission and clutch are excellent! The brakes are solid and the car stops straight and true. The car is fitted with Hankook Ventus S1 tires, which are only a few years old and still have plenty of tread.
Service history wise, there are stamps from an Authorized Porsche dealer in the Maintenance manual from 1986 - 1990. There is also a folder full of receipts dating from 2001 - 2017. Some of the major work was done in 2003, with 100K on the odometer. This included: A new Clutch, Front and Rear Brake Rebuild,New Alternator, Oil Cool Radiator, and lots of other repair, all adding up to $17,000. The further receipts show regular maintenance and repairs, from regular oil changes, new battery and new tires, to more thorough maintenance such as valve adjustments, new shifter bushings, new gaskets, new belts, new CV axle boots, and cosmetic upkeep.
Upon receiving the car, we had a local Porsche mechanic perform a compression test to make sure the motor is in great running shape, and we were very pleased with the outcome. The compression numbers are as follow: Cyl.1: 170, Cyl.2: 170, Cyl.3: 175, Cyl.4: 180, Cyl.5: 180, Cyl.6: 180.
