Vehicle Description
Check out this beautiful example of a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX 2
Door Hardtop that has just become available to purchase. Yes, this
is a true GTX with the 440 Super Commando engine paired with a 4
speed manual transmission. This is one of 2,486 4 speed GTX's ever
built. This muscle car is still painted in its original color of
turbine bronze iridium and has undergone an extensive frame off
restoration. It was ordered late in 1966 and was originally
ordered, purchased, and titled in Tennessee Jan of 1967. ( a copy
of the original title is included with the sale)
This car has also been recorded in Galen's Registry and in 2007 was
the 67th of 153 440 GTX's recorded. Galen's Tag Service also
decoded this car and that original paperwork will be included in
the sale as well as the build sheet. This car pretty much speaks
for itself, just take a look at the pictures and video provided on
our website. The paint has an incredible luster and finish to it.
The interior is also in very nice shape from the vinyl bucket seats
with floor shifter to the dash and carpet. The engine bay is
finished off quite nicely showing off the ever popular 440 Mopar
power plant. In fact, the original numbers matching block comes
with the car if you want it. The trunk has been kept stock looking
and is nice and tidy. Once you look at the underside pics you'll
see how solid and clean this car really is, pretty much as nice
under there as the rest of the car. There's nothing really to hide
on this one with the build sheet included as well as Galen's Tag
Service decoding. Just give us a call at 507-386-1726 to inquire on
this piece of Mopar history. You can also email
