Vehicle Description
Only 2,373 Crown Coupes were produced in 1966 and few have survived
in such nice original condition as the one offered here. 1966 was
the final year for this body design and its the first year for the
more powerful 440 cubic inch V8 engine which is factory rated at an
impressive 350 horsepower. It's also the last year for a full frame
as the 1967 model went to unibody construction. This is a
California car which retains its original paint. Paint is good to
fair. The chrome, glass and stainless trim are good to excellent.
The interior is outstanding. I believe the front seats have been
reupholstered with correct matching leather as they look to good to
be original (see photos). The dash, steering wheel, door panels and
instrumentation are outstanding! Under the hood is clean and
original. The trunk compartment is neat and clean with spare & jack
in place. Owners manual, service manual and original bill of sale
are included. This is a nicely equipped Imperial with optional air
conditioning and a long list of standard power equipment. The
factory AM radio has been retained in place and an AM/FM stereo
w/cd is neatly installed below the dash in its own housing. The
exterior is paint code 55 "Dusty Gold Metallic" with a matching
champagne leather interior and white vinyl top. This is a recent
arrival and we've noted that the power steering will need service.
Odometer indicates 78,000 miles (title states "exempt"). Asking
