Vehicle Description
Black exterior, Red interior. 5.7L Corvette LT5 V8 engine,
automatic overdrive transmission, All steel body, No expenses
spared. This '34 Ford is as nice as they come with a full nut and
bolt restoration. The body is all steel with no replacement
fiberglass parts like many others. It was very solid before the
restoration and many hours were spent making it perfect. The black
paint has a great shine and still looks new with no corners cut
perfecting the body. The interior is completely one-off with Swiss
hide leather and other top shelf materials. The original frame has
been fully boxed for maximum strength as well as smoothed and
painted for an excellent underneath finish. Every suspension
component has been chrome plated including sway bars, control arms,
spindles, end links, and more. The front suspension consists of a
double wishbone Heidt's system and the rear is a 4 link with Ford
9' rearend. Coilover shocks are placed at all four corners as well
as four wheel disc brakes. The engine is a rare LT5 V8 from a 1993
Corvette ZR1. Only 448 ZR1's were built in 1993, and this Ford
Convertible has one of those engines making it extremely rare and
sought after. The LT5 produced 405hp and 385lb-ft of torque and was
the first and only Corvette with dual-overhead cams and four valves
per cylinder. The 5.7L all aluminum V8 was designed by Lotus and
remains a legend to this day.The receipts show for a $16,000 engine
rebuild consisting of new JE pistons, rod bearings, main bearings,
gaskets, custom cams, machine work, and head and intake porting. No
maney was spared on the rebuild of this LT5. The transmission is a
700R4 overdrive automatic which makes cruising down the highway a
breeze. This Ford is unlike any you have seen before. Come out
today to see it in person!
