STD 2412 1961 Chevrolet Impala
This all-original Chevrolet Impala sedan is virtually as beautiful
today as it was on the showroom floor in 1961. We have no
documentation, but the odometer reading of 44,100 miles may very
well be correct. Its classic lines are complimented by the original
Ermine White finish with Seamist Turquoise accents and lots of
chrome. The Blue/Turquoise original interior is stunning. Note the
vintage seat covers - probably installed by the dealer. This luxury
Impala is optioned with push-button AM radio, tinted glass,
heater/defroster and front bumper guards. Power is furnished by a
235ci 'stove-bolt' 6-cylinder. The owner believes it to be the
original motor, still running superbly. It is backed by Chevy's
classic 2-speed PowerGlide transmission. The chassis is fitted with
manual steering, drum brakes and wide white 205x75x14" radial tires
mounted on factory rims with original wheel covers. There are few
of these classic sedans around - far fewer in this condition. This
