Vehicle Description
The fourth-generation Chevrolet Camaro is an automobile which was
produced by Chevrolet for the 1993 through 2002 model years;
although the last 30 models were unofficially sold in 2003. It was
introduced on an updated F-body platform. It would retain the same
characteristic since the first-generation's introduction back in
1967; 2-doors, 2+2 seating, available as a coupe (with optional
T-top roof) or convertible, rear-wheel drive, and a choice of
pushrod V6 and V8 powerplants. The 1998 model year was refreshed
and revised with both exterior and engine changes. The fourth-gen
Camaro would last up through the 2002 model year when General
Motors discontinued production due to slow sales, a deteriorated
sports coupe market, and plant overcapacity.

Pace Car for consideration. This vehicle features 28,797 original
miles from new. A small number of 645 were built for 1993, and out
of those 125 were used during the Indy 500 festival. 1993 brought
the first year of an all new Camaro, and to celebrate the Camaro
was once again chosen to pace the Indy 500, for an unprecedented
4th time. Built with the 5.7L 275hp V8, Chevrolet also fitted the
Pace Car with the Corvettes 4-speed automatic transmission, as well
as every available option for the model year, including air
conditioning, T-tops and CD player. An all original car, in
outstanding condition inside and out, that runs and drives great.
