YEP ! THE REAL DEAL. This is a REAL General Lee!! Well-Documented.
Before and After photos shown ! This car was built by the original
stunt crew and film crew in Georgia who built the 1st five GLs in
GA for the 1st five television episodes of "The Dukes of Hazzard".
This car was never titled to Warner Brothers.
The car was restored in two stages. The first stage was to provide
new floors (a 0ne-piece section was added) and new trunk pan.
The second stage (just completed) was to restore the Lee to
running/driving condition and to finish it as it was in 1977. The
General has a rebuilt 440cu in. engine, a 727 automatic
transmission and brand new tan interior.
This car features its original wheels, original gauge cluster (with
special marker for driver to maintain drifting speed), original
paint with hand painted flag and numbers. She has lots of patina
from her active days and is now a pleasure to drive and enjoy on
your own dirt back roads or just rolling through town honking your
Dixie horn. Yes...Dixie Horn and push bar included !
