wonderful Triumph TR2 for sale. How can you even begin to look at

to be on the hedgerow roads outside London right now with a slight
mist in the air...When we're talking Triumphs it's always good to
keep in mind just 8,636 TR2's were ever built compared to thousands
of the TR3 models. Rare and cool -- a wonderful combination.OK back
to the car and reality. This is a beautifully restored and
wonderful condition TR2 that is ready to show, drive or just look
at and enjoy in the garage. Correctly finished in pearl white over
black leather, just as the British Heritage Certificate for this
car show, she's stunning on the move or sitting still.The TR2 motor
in this car has been rebuilt to TR4 specs and motivates this car
beautifully with its upgraded Mikuni carbs providing just that
right amount of extra boost. The British Heritage Certificate calls
for an engine number that's about 100 numbers away from the engine
number that's in there but based on everything we've read and seen
we're betting this is the original engine in the car. These engines
were going into a number of different models and having a number
that close we are betting on record keeping or happenstance. The
transmission is dated 55 and original as well.Check out the aero
screens- the very definition of cool and we dare say the very
definition of rare. Those are real Triumph screens not the more
common and plentiful Brooklands screens. We recently saw a listing
of Original Triumph Aero Screens in nice shape for $1450.00-
EACH.Underneath of this car is very solid with original floors,
excellent original frame and ancillary metal. It's obvious from the
frame this car has never suffered any significant damage. Some
light touch up on the rockers is the only area we can identify even
the slightest amount of metal work.We have the original windshield,
front bumper, top bows and side curtains and those of course stay
with the car.Show it, polish it, enjoy it and or just drive the
wheels off of it. You just can't beat a TR2 for sporting
