For Sale: 2008 Jeep Wrangler in Lithia Springs, Georgia

Vehicle Description

What this 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited represents is the state-of-the-art in off-roading, enhanced by a few well-chosen aftermarket modifications. If there's a remote corner of the planet that you're eager to visit, this Jeep will absolutely get you there.

The mistake a lot of folks make with the Wrangler is assuming that its comfortable interior and long list of creature comforts has made it soft. Well, they're dead wrong. This is hardcore off-roading at its best, although from the looks of the bright yellow paint, it hasn't been anywhere more rugged than a gravel driveway. Big fender flares, butch-looking step plates, and an oversized front bumper with a brush guard and LED lighting all suggest that it scoffs at climbing mountains and bounding over boulders, and it's all in very good condition. Of course, it has been driven and enjoyed, showing 83,805 original miles, but it definitely looks the part of a vehicle that stickered for more than $35,000 (I'll pause here to give you a moment to get your jaw off the floor). With four doors, it's actually quite roomy and practical, but with that towering stance and industrial details, there are no doubts about this 4x4's intentions. And all the Jeep DNA is there, from the squared-off greenhouse to the familiar grille and round headlights (augmented by LED auxiliary lighting), so you shouldn't worry about not being recognized. And if you want practical, there's even a spare tire hanging off the back.

Inside, it's a comfortable cocoon of luxury, which is quite startling in a Jeep, never mind a Wrangler. The list of goodies is extensive, including air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt steering column, a powerful stereo with Bluetooth interface, and enough speakers to be heard at the other end of the Grand Canyon. It's also got a fairly comprehensive array of instrumentation in a very handsome instrument panel that's no longer just a flat sheet of metal like in the good old days. It was ordered with a factory 3-piece hardtop, which includes two removable panels over the front seats that adds to the open-air experience of owning a Jeep. Oh, and there's a set of tube doors as well, in case you want to go full Jeep out in the wild.

The engine is a 3.6 liter V6 that truly transformed the Wrangler. Faster and more efficient than the old V6, it gives this Jeep the moves to match its looks. This is a Jasper crate engine with about 3000 miles on the clock, so it's ready to enjoy. The installation looks extremely clean and you wouldn't know it's not a factory piece just by looking at it. And it sure is clean! An automatic transmission means it's reasonably economical on the pavement and cruises nicely at highway speeds, so go ahead and use it as a daily driver. Aftermarket additions include a 6-inch Pro Comp suspension lift with heavy-duty shocks, so if it wasn't ready for the rough stuff before, it certainly is now. Custom Dick Cepek wheels give it just the right aggressive look and carry giant 35x12.50-17 Nitto Trail Grappler off-road radials.

Go anywhere, do anything was always the Jeep's mantra, but it has never been this easy or this luxurious. Call today!
