This 1965 Impala SS has just been purchased from the estate of a
local collector. Not only is this a true SS it is a numbers
matching Impala SS convertible. It is powered by its original 327
cu high performance motor (engine code HB) mated to a 4 speed
manual transmission and 12 bolt posi-traction rear end. It is
outfitted with power steering and has been upgraded with power
front disc brakes.This car has recently undergone a frame off
restoration with all the major components either new or rebuilt
including engine suspension and drive train. The undercarriage is
extremely clean. There is no evidence of any frame repair and the
floor pans look to be original. Also the car seems to wearing its
original sheet metal...you can still see the part number stamps on
the rear fenders. The paint is exceptional as is the chrome...no
chips dents or scratches. The top is new and has been fitted with a
new glass window as well. Inside are the standard SS bucket seats
console with floor shifter and in dash tach. The door panels and
carpet look new. Having just undergone its restoration this car has
no mechanical issues...it is ready for long Sunday drives in the
