The 1966 Ford Mustang continued the very successful product line
from Ford that got it's start with the 1964 1/2 model. The
1966 Mustangs received minor body, trim and grill changes
and Ford's new C-4 "cruise-o-matic" three-speed auto
transmission became available on 289 V-8 equipped
cars.
The car presented at auction is a very well preserved 66
Mustang. The interior presents very well and the Springtime
Yellow is a beautiful look on this iconic car. The 289,
believed to be original but not confirmed, runs strong and the
transmission shifts smooth. This car is the most identifiable
classic car on the market and always a pleasure to own, drive and
show.
