I have owned this 1972 TR6 (#CC80989U) since 1983. The car has been painted blue (was green), and has been very well maintained. It has been garaged and only lightly used during fair weather, as I was married and started a family soon after purchasing! There are very low miles on many components, including the suspension, exhaust system, and brakes. The car has been fitted with new red line tires, a new top and dashboard/dashpad. Electronic ignition replaces points and condenser. I have many extras and spare parts, including tonneau cover.
This car is otherwise maintained primarily as the original, with the straight 6 engine with 4-speed manual transmission, and dual side-draft carbs (refurbed and rebuilt)! This car runs well and is a strong driver.
Buy this car as a great driver, or take to the next level of restoration!!! I am very sad to part with this inspiring classic, but hip problems limit my access to this roadster!
