as good or better then factory condition. Some great mechanical

The engine was enhanced and runs on today's gas. Has power 4 wheel
disc brake system with drilled and slotted rotors. Has gas shocks
and radial wide whitewall tires. Clock was upgraded to quartz

jewelry.
Wether you want to add a centerpiece to your collection, or you
want that one collector car that puts most others to shame, or if
you want an old car to drive that is better then it was new; this
is the car. Remember it's half price and there's no waiting!
The Edsel Legacy: Ford had a void in their lineup that needed to be
filled. It was decided that an entirely new car division and an
entirely new car is what they needed. The Edsel was kept very tight
lipped under extremely tight security in anticipation of it's
release. One of the biggest marketing campaigns of the time was
launched. 2.5 million people visited dealer showrooms the day the
Edsel was unveiled. The hype actually raised people's expectations
to such an extreme level, the car could not live up to people's
expectations. The most outstanding features would probably be the
horse collar grill and innovative Teletouch push button shifter in
the middle of the steering wheel. Among other things that were
working against Edsel's success was a failing economy. Car sales
across the board were way down. After only 3 years, millions and
millions of dollars lost and great embarrassment, Ford scrapped the
Edsel completely.
Now today the Edsel's are a very sought after collectible. Such
limited production #s make them rare, especially a convertible. The
Edsel story will be a significant chapter in automotive history.
That makes it that much more intriguing today, like the Tucker.
