Rare 50th / Golden Anniversary Edition
I have this rare barn find 1964 Dodge 880 Custom up for sale. Only
3798 of these cars were produced in 1964 in the two door hardtop
model and less with the 383 / 2 barrel option & push button
transmission that works great. Suspension consists of front
torsion bars and rear leaf springs so it can be lowered pretty
easily if that's your thing.
Dodge used the Chrysler Newport platform and added updated body / trim on the 880s & Custom 880 models.

Here is a great Hemmings article on them:

Current Hagerty Value for a # 4 is $7700 in Fair condition which is close to how I would rate this car.
It is about 98% complete and runs & drives...I know for sure it is missing one interior passenger door armrest & a glove box liner and I believe that is it from being complete. It does have the original accessory fog lights (non-working right now) and all of the original stainless trim is in tact.
Factory power car, windows, seats, steering, brakes...driver window motor is not working, passenger works fine...
Pictures tell the story...I hve nothing to hide. The car has some rust in quarters and on the bubbletop which you can see in the photos, but it is repairable. Trunk and floors are solid...doors shut nice.
Interior is almost 100% complete, power seats work, dome light works, radio turns on but can't get sound out of it...it does have the factory rear speaker switch on the dash. Seats are ripped but complete and I found the original fabric is available at SMS Auto Fabric out of Oregon.
Just a good honest Mopar that needs someone to love it and bring it back...it could be great Father & Son / Daughter project.
Title is clear...and I am very flexible on the price I just want it going to a good home.
Personally I love the current patina on this car...I just planned on lowering it, and waxing it but like all of us I have too many projects and know I will not get around to it.
