classic and muscle car business. From the moment that Chevrolet's
Chevelle was released in 1964 as competition to Ford's Fairlane,
Chevy's intermediate became a sales success as well as a fixture of
American car culture. With tidier exterior dimensions and almost as
much interior room as Chevy's full-size Impala, the Chevelle was
similar in size to the classic 1955-1957 Chevrolets and would
quickly attain a comparable, cult-like following. Our sweet 1965
Chevelle boasts additional desirability thanks to its Malibu SS
(13837) package. Lift the hood and you'll find a potent Chevy 383
stroker featuring Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, an
Edelbrock RPM AirGap aluminum intake manifold, an Edelbrock
carburetor, Hooker headers, HEI, and an aluminum radiator with twin
cooling fans. Chassis upgrades consist of heavy duty front and rear
stabilizer bars, tubular steel upper and lower A-arms, fully boxed
lower control arms, tubular steel upper links, and lower control
arm stiffeners. Additional features include power steering, 4-wheel
disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, Vintage Air air
conditioning, 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive, tilt
steering column with new Chevy 'Sports-styled' wheel, auxiliary
gauges, and a newer stereo. If you're looking for an attractive
