For Sale: 1957 GMC 100 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota

Vehicle Description

This hard to find pickup had been sitting on a farm for many years. Lots of rust damage in the usual spots. Very complete with tailgate and original hood ornament! Because is has sat so long, the engine is probably stuck. No title. It was lost several years ago.

We can part this truck and send you the cab and front clip and/or box. The cab includes everything inside and the doors. The front clip includes fenders, inner fenders, hood, grill and front bumper. The box would include all box sides. If you see the parts on the truck, they are included. If the truck doesn’t have for example a front bumper, then it will not come with a front bumper. I can ship the motor and transmission as well. Each of these (cab, front clip, box and motor) ship on a separate pallet. Add $150 per pallet.

Please read the Fastenal paragraph for more info on shipping.

Fastenal: A great resource for shipping larger items on pallets. I will supply the pallet. The only downfall with using Fastenal, is they do not ship to California. There are over 2600 stores in the US. If there is a store near you, they will most likely ship to it. I ship the pallets within a few days of cleared payment. When it is shipped out, I email the buyer with the Fastenal address and phone number where it will arrive. It takes about 7-10 business days to arrive there. They do not guarantee arrival times and do not offer tracking. They are simply sent from warehouse to warehouse within the Fastenal companies. Once the shipment arrives at your store, Fastenal WILL call you. Please do not pester them with phone calls as they are very busy. I give them your number. If Fastenal is unable to reach you for any reason, this shipment will be returned to me after 7 days and you will lose out on payment. You will need to pick the shipment up. Fastenal will not deliver this to a 3rd party warehouse or International shipping facility. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING THIS UP IN PERSON. Fastenal will load this with the forklift onto your trailer. I will ship most things on only a pallet. This has been the most cost-effective way to ship bulky items. All shipments will be sent with a risk of getting damaged. I have shipped a couple hundred pallets and have only had a couple damaged. They are very reliable.

Please do not call asking for parts off whole vehicles. My phone floods with calls from guys looking for parts. It’s frustrating. We are not a salvage yard. Parting cars leaves the guy who buys the whole car scrambling to find these parts that I sold. I will not do it!

All vehicles are being sold in as-is condition. We do not warranty them. We do our best to give the most accurate descriptions and will disclose any information we know about the vehicle. Keep in mind, these vehicles are over 60 years old. We did not buy them new. They have been passed around several times, sat in fields or barns for most their life span and been pulled around by who knows what. They are by far perfect! Please ask us for more photos if you are unsure about the condition. Getting photos of the underside of a vehicle is difficult as we do not have a car lift.

Buyers can make payment at any time. For eBay customers, full payment is required within 48 hours of purchasing. After the 48 hours, a case will be opened against you. We accept check, money orders, Paypal and all major credit cards. There is a 3% charge for all Paypal and credit card charges. If buyer is to mail a money order or check, a tracking number (USPS or UPS) is required within the first 48 hours of purchasing. For non-eBay customers, a non-refundable deposit can also be made. A deposit will hold a vehicle for 7 days. After the 7 days, buyer will lose deposit and vehicle will be held for resale. Buyer has 30 days from the time of making full payment to collect vehicle, unless prior arrangements with us are made. After 30 days, buyer will lose vehicle and any money paid. We do not refund money. We are not a storage facility and need the space for new inventory. Like any other car dealer, once a car is paid for, it’s yours!

Transporting vehicle is your responsibility. We can assist in finding transport and loading vehicle. We have a skidsteer on site, but cannot drive the skidsteer onto their trailer or lift vehicle up. Please find a transporter that has a flatbed trailer and winch. We’ve had problems with transporters coming with double decker trailers. These aren’t the most suitable in hauling these old non-running vehicles.

Some of our vehicles do not have titles. The titles were lost several years ago and the vehicles were abandoned. We can apply for and receive a title, at an additional cost, for a vehicle if it’s bought at full asking price. The process to receive a title back from the Minnesota DMV takes between 6 and 9 months. Vehicles must be collected in the 30 day period, weather or not we do apply for those titles. We then will mail the title to you.

Thank you
