1989 Toyota Supra
True One Owner Car
Sport Top Model
Professional Re-paint in 2016
New Leather Upholstery in 2016
The 1989 Supra is the 3rd generation of the famed Toyota Sports
Car. The third generation marked the complete separation from
the Celica, maintaining the rear-wheel drive plaftorm.
The power-plant in this highly acclaimed car was the 7M-GE which
was the flagship engine for Toyota. An upgrade option on the
Supra was a Turbo-charged edition. The
turbocharged 7M-GTE engine was Toyota's first
distributor-less engine offered in the US which used coil packs
sitting on the cam covers and a cam position sensor driven by the
exhaust camshaft. The "white package" was introduced as
well, featuring white body molding and white "saw blade"
wheels.
The car presented at auction is a very nice one owner car that has
been extremely well cared for. It has always been garaged and
rarely, if ever, driven in inclement weather. The car
received a high-end re-paint in 2016 to factory original
color specifications and the interior seat upholstery was
replaced as well. The turbo-charged engine runs strong, the 5
manual transmission shifts smooth and the Road Performance
suspension makes this car a blast to drive! While the
odometer shows 114K miles, this car is new in appearance and like
new in driving performance.
