On its launch, the 240Z was a spectacular car that could easily
compete with the best cars from the American and European market.
It was a performance car with a sexy look, and at a price of only
$3500 that helped the maker to sell over 50,000 in 1972. This
2-owner Z car has been repainted in a very shiny mother of pearl
yellow. It is powered by L24 Inline-6 cylinder engine with twin SU
carburetors that produce 151 hp straight from the factory. The
exterior styling is inspired by the Ferrari GTO proportions and the
Jaguar E-type nose. Nissan also added delicate bumper and framed by
headlights recessed into ice scoop buckets mounted in the front
fenders. It has a weight of 2320 lbs. The interior features a very
cool and unique yellow plaid upholstered high-back bucket seats and
instrumentation cluster deeply tunneled into the dash. It sits a
set of aftermarket chrome wheels contrasting the pearlescent paint
nicely. This car looks great, performs well, and is looking for a
new garage to sit in! This vehicle is located in our Denver
showroom. You can view this 1972 Nissan Datsun 240Z in greater
