showroom. The 7th generation T-Bird was released in 1977 as an
intermediate model instead of the full size of the prior
generation. Sales would see a huge jump in 77 selling more than
300k cars which was a very impressive feat for the T Bird. This
example is a two-owner car that was bought from an estate sale
about 7 years ago. The original bill of sale is included and shows
the purchase price of almost 8000 dollars. A lot of money at that
time but a small price to pay for all this car. The original paint
is great condition with a great shine while the deep tan color is
classic 70's. The opera window is a nice touch and was something
only available on the T Bird. Under the hood is the original 400
that gets the car down the road nicely. The low-end torque gets up
to speed nicely while the 2.73 gear gives the car decent fuel
efficiency. The transmission shifts as it should with smooth
upshifts that are typical proof of these old cruisers. Open the
door and one of the cleanest interiors I have seen is just asking
to be sat in. The tan cloth is soft and feels more like velour than
your typical cloth. The bucket seats have arm rest that fold up
which is something I have not seen before. The dash is stuffed full
of gauges keeping everything monitored giving you a sense of
confidence over the typical warning lights. If you have been
