1971 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
Excellent example of the C3 Corvette
Numbers Matching LS5 Engine
4sp Manual Transmission
High level restoration completed in 2015
The C3 Corvette, dubbed the Shark, was produced from 1968 through
1982. It was a complete re-design of the Corvette brand and
was very well accepted by the American sports car
buyer. For the 1971 model year, the fender flares were
designed into the body contours to reduce wheel-thrown debris
damage and gave the car the imposing wide stance it is known
for. Positraction rear axle, tinted glass, and a
wide-ratio 4-speed manual transmission were standard. The
1971 Models still maintained the chrome bumpers linking the C3 to
previous iterations.
The car presented at auction was delivered new with the 454 ci
engine which is still present today! This matching
numbers car completed a total restoration in 2015 and shows
extremely well.
