Built by a premier automotive restorer for his father, this 66
Chevelle Malibu Wagon is a real head-turner! A solid original
car was frame-off rebuilt from the ground up and the car presents
itself very well inside and out. The restoration was
completed in 2008 and the car received a re-paint in 2017.
Both front and rear bumpers were re-chromed and all bright work was
replaced when available. American Racing Wheels provide a
good stance for this beautiful wagon.
The interior is completely new with custom front bucket seats, new
headliner, dash pad, new carpet front to back, custom center
console and tinted windows. The power windows work
great including the power back window.
Mechanically this car is an excellent cruiser! The original
287 V8 was rebuilt as was the automatic transmission. This
wagon still sports the original 12 bold rear-end and the car will
make 25+ mpg! A new radiator and new dual exhaust were
installed along with new A/C compressor and all A/C
components. Front disc brakes were installed and the car
handles very well around town or cruising at highway
speed.
The original front bench seat is available with the car as are 4
doors and a tail gate.
