Vehicle Description
Just arrived - Aston Martin DB6 MKI Saloon
This beautifully presented Aston Martin was delivered to its first
owner, a Mr K. S. Walker of Sheffield, in September of 1967. It was
finished in Silver Birch with Blue Trim and came with a number of
special options including Borg Warner automatic transmission, power
steering, chromed wire wheels, power aerial, heated rear screen and
lap belts.
The earliest history of the car is still being researched but by
1985 it had been purchased by a Mr Brooker who purchased it as a
teenager and used it only sparingly before selling it in 1989 to a
Mr Spyders, an independent retailer, who in turn sold it to a Mr
Gray. It was during Gray's ownership that a significant amount of
mechanical and cosmetic work was undertaken with renowned marque
specialists R S Williams and Ian Mason as well Aston Martin Works
Service. At this time the car was also converted from automatic
transmission and the desirable ZF five-speed manual gearbox was
installed. Gray eventually sold the car and each of the subsequent
owners continued to maintain it in the same fastidious manner, as
shown by the numerous invoices in the car's history file.
Accordingly the car remains in very nice condition, retains its
original engine and presents beautifully in its correct Silver
Birch with Blue interior.
