Purchased from a 300 car collection. Complete custom chassis under
this 32 hot rod. Built to cruise- has overdrive, air conditioning
and more. From Louisiana where it has participated in Cruising the
Coast. It was built about 12 years ago. Independently valued at
$55,000 by a collector car auction company.
EXTERIOR: Fiberglass 3 window "chopped"
coupe. Has full fenders and hood. Smooth, sleak look with no
handles. Suicide doors open by remote, trunk has a power lift. Up
front it has a die cut stainless grill, chrome headlights with
built in turnsignals and a 3 piece metal hood. Overall the car
looks hot. There are a few places where the fiberglass is a little
wavy. The paint is very glossy. Has tinted glass.
UNDERSIDE: Custom chassis- boxed and tubular frame. Has independent
front end with tubular control arms and power steering. In back it
has a narrowed Ford 9 inch with 4 link suspension and coil over
shocks. Has drive shaft loop. Power brakes with auxiliary vacuum
can, discs at all 4 wheels.
INTERIOR: Fully upholstered in cream color vinyl. Very comfortable
and adjustable reclining bucket seats. I'm 6 ft and fit
comfortably. Has a polished tilt steering column and leather grip
wheel. it's a nice clean dash with a set of Stewart Warner
nostalgic gauges. Vintage Air controls and vents are neatly
installed. Has Lokar floor shifter. The trunk compartment is rather
small but it is carpeted to match the interior.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a later model Vortec 350 motor with a
polished aluminum high rise intake, chromed Holley dual feed carb,
HEI ignition and headers. It is dressed up with tall aluminum valve
covers and a lot of polished parts. Has an aluminum radiator,
overflow bottle and electric fan.
The 32- 34 Ford hot rods are hotter then ever. This one has a great
look, them big fat tires hidden under the back are really cool. Its
a cruiser with some muscle!
