GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1929 Chevrolet Six Coupe
for your consideration. The car was highly restored and looks very
good. The car comes with many books and manuals from the
restoration. This is the first year that Chevrolet offered a 6
cylinder valve-in-head engine. The car sold new for $595 and got
better than 20 MPG. The car came with full ball bearing steering
system and non-locking 4 wheel brakes with separate emergency
brakes.
The Chevrolet offered here was owned for over 40 years by the
owner. As you can see the car underwent a complete restoration. The
engine was removed and rebuilt, the interior was redone and the car
as repainted in Buddha Blue. A new wood kit was installed in the
body structure of the car. The built by Fisher body shows well and
is a nice solid example. The car fires right up and handles as it
should.
The Chevrolet has the vent windshield that can be inched up by a
