Vehicle Description
If this car got any wilder, you might not be able to hang a license
plate off the rear. That's because with its supercharged V8, full
roll cage, and tubbed rear end, this 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS has
been transformed into a very wicked machine.
This is a bold prostreet statement that starts the moment you see
the big shining air scoop come into view. Plus, the four-pin
arrangement in the lift-off fiberglass hood and the 15-inch
American Racing wheels are more indicators of a serious power
player. In fact, this one is definitely out for attention - after
all, why else would they make a solid investment in such a bright
and shining shade of turquoise? But more than just the bold pieces,
you want this real-deal Super Sport coupe because it gets the
fundamentals right with good sheetmetal and bright form-fitting
chrome bumpers. Plus, the '65 Impalas are ultra-desirable for the
bold three-piece taillight element that had a protruding style
exclusive to this year.
Inside, the black interior is a great contrasting color for the
bright turquoise exterior. Plus, as a real-deal SS car, you get the
bucket seats, a center console, and upgraded door panels. And while
all of this is a nicely preserved condition, what you'll really
notice is the full custom roll cage and bracing setup - another
indicator that this classic means business. You also have nice
upgrades like an auxiliary gauge trio, the Optima battery mounted
in the trunk, and a large Bosch tach mounted on the steering
column. So while there is an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo, you really
know your favorite soundtrack will be starting under the hood.
We know you've been curious about the engine bay ever since
spotting the air scoop, and when you lift off the lightweight hood,
you see a motor that's ready for combat. The fender walls have been
removed and extra bracing has been added, so you have terrific
access to this beastly V8. The 350 cubic-inch motor is enhanced
with dual Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors feeding the BDS Street
Charger supercharger. Plus, the headers add to this power while
also contributing to the thunder of the side pipes. And yes, this
beastly motor feeds a racer's choice Powerglide transmission. With
this kind of quality setup, you'll also be glad to know you can get
the power to the ground effectively with the reinforced ladder bar
rear suspension, adjustable coilovers, and ultra-wide 31x18 Mickey
Thompson tires in the rear. Plus, with a thick sway bar and disc
brakes up front, control is also achieved on this prostreet
Impala.
While this coupe will turn heads, it's also built to be a true
contender. That makes it an exceptional machine offered for quite a
nice price. Don't miss out, call today!
