Up for sale we have a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. This is an X33 car
that has under gone a full restoration. From top to bottom this is
a phenomenal resto that resulted in one of the nicest Z28's on the
market today. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief
description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy,
but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee.
We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no
consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You
can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a
big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So,
that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us
for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at
(865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this Camaro. The body is
straight down the sides with excellent door gaps and fit. It has
the steel cowl hood that has great gaps and fit along with the deck
lid. Everything is covered in the Cortez Silver which is the
factory color for this '69. The silver is accented by the Black
stripes that are buried in the clear. Everywhere you look, the
paint is slick with a mirror finish. Both bumpers were replaced and
are in excellent condition. The rest of the chrome and stainless is
either new or in like new condition. Also, all the glass appears to
be replaced and is in great condition. To finish off the look it's
sitting on a set of 15" Rallyes with top hats and GoodYear Wide
Tread GTS.
Next, we will look at the interior of the Z/28. On the inside, it's
done in Black with Bucket Seats, which is also the factory option
for it. The seat covers have been replaced along with the door
panels. You'll notice this Camaro has the console with the Hurst
Shifter and console gauges that are all working. In the dash, it
has the Tach and Speedo which is also working. This is a radio
delete car, but it does come with a Tilt Wheel and Custom Grip
Steering Wheel. The carpet and headliner are both in great
condition with the headliner having an excellent fit and a working
dome light. In the trunk, it has the spare and jack along with a
trunk mat and matching tire cover.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood
it's powered by a DZ 302 engine that's mated to the '69 model M20
Muncie Four Speed and a '69 Model 12 Bolt Posi with 4.10 Gears. The
302 is set up with the correct style 3932472 Winters Intake and
3923289 DZ Holley Carburetor. For exhaust, it has the correct '69
model Manifolds with Duals pipes and the stock style dual exhaust.
This Camaro has Power Brakes with new lines and Disc on the front.
When you look under this Camaro all the frame and floors look
original with no signs of patchwork. Under the front it has Power
Steering and the ball joints and bushings were replaced. Also, a
new tank was installed along with new lines.
